I've also had labs and goldens which are also smart and lovable,it's going to be a hard choice. A stray would be good if you can bring your dogs down to see if they are compatable. You have 2 dogs now that would love to chase horses but do not. You add an aussie (another herding dog)into the mix that may change. Max stays out of the pens for the most part. If Zena mis-behaves as usual, he follows.
