Spot, the Border Collie, of the purebred nature, showing his natural talents, watching the horses in which he knows that is all that he is allowed to do. But I do like this pic because he has that intent Border Collie look on. He's quite good at herding the goats as long as he is not distracted by his soccer ball.

I love borders! Our childhood dogs were border collies. We would take them to watch the sheepdog trials in Wales every year. Now I am married, we have a guardian breed. We find that the horses are much more tolerant of the guardian breeds than the herding breeds. Especially the mules.
