CASH

This handsome little guy is "Cash". The former owner of the mare asked me if I wanted to sell this one. I joked with my boyfriend that it would take a lot of cash to buy this one and that's how he was named. His mama is 24 years old and I was delirious when she had him. She loves him dearly and so does his Aunt Holly. She is a crippled 16 year old mare. Her and Lady have been together for years. My boyfriend caught Cash tonight and he sounded like a puppy crying. I never heard a horse sound like that before. I fell in love with him right then. He ran to nurse when he was set free and he reached under the wrong mare, she really jumped. The other babies really don't know what to think of him. I don't think they like his light color. A much wiser horse friend of mine told me that in the wild they attract predators and are shunned. It kinda makes sense. He always has the dogs to chase.

This is Jess's little man. He's a Dun. His Daddy is Cat's Dunn It and MaMa is Lady O Lena. His Daddy is a Dun and Lady is a bay. He is adorable. Such a pretty color.

Very cute! Sounds from his bloodlines like he should be pretty catty on his feet. Is he already doing rollbacks and lead changes?

I just love babies! That's what gets me into trouble! lol

Thanks! He is also tracking the dogs and has a real nice sliding stop. He's a keeper. I thought he might shed out grulla, his muzzle is dun colored though. He will be pretty dark dun. He has 3 white socks too. I'm not used to that much flash, most of my horses are red.

I grew up in Sault St. Marie, on LK Superior...I am an LSSU graduate.

All of my family is in the UP, Sugar Island, and the Gaylord, Indian River area.....my Father, brother, all my sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins ect...

I miss my home state something fierce, even after 18 years in Oklahoma. I like OKLA but NOTHING compares to N.MI and the Great Lakes, nothing.

I am familiar w/ Ironwood :)beautiful place!
