Usually out in the pasture by evening, they are both in and Misty keeps looking out towards the pasture. Maybe too many loud motorcycles going past.............Odd behavior tonight.
Jess reminded me last night that this is the time of year for bad heat cycles and confusion and added stress for the mares as change in season encroaches and the weather can't decide whether it wants to stay hot of get cold, hence the odd behavior.

Mares are always a bit more sensitive anyway :)

They are definately more sensitive, but aren't women in general. I've both geldings and mares and I do notice it more in the mares. Damn hormones :)
