So Much For Rest
So much for rest today. Steve and I awoke this morning at 3 am to a flood in our ground floor as one of the pipes had burst. This is an annual event. The plumber is here now. All of the towels have been used to soak up the mess. I hate frigid cold.
Still sounds like a night mare to me. We are going into our coldest streak of the winter and I still have some pipes to get wrapped or I'll be having some of my own pipes breaking and we don't get anywhere near as cold as you do there.

Now it's up to the high teens, just enough moisture in the air to snow 6 inches today! Yeah!
Yuck! So sorry... hope the cleaning up goes well. And that's terrible that it's an annual event. :( Stay warm!
ooh bummer. That used to happen in the house I grew up in.
And we're still not over the cold snap....
