Not that this is nearly as pretty as Midlife Mom's friend creates, but here it is. An award for those of us who give great tips for horse care. I've got a couple, like one half to one cup plain bleach in 100 gallons of water in trough to retard algae growth and now the Metamucil 2 tbs twice a week instead of Sandclear. Cheaper and so far just as effective. So the first one goes to Mrs.Mom at Oh Horse Feathers for all her helpful tips for general care and hoof care. And to the girls at BrownEyedCowgirls for all the posts on natural horsemanship. So I encourage everyone to take it and pass it along!

That is a great award Callie! I know I learn so much from reading all my horsey friends blogs. We're all in this together and if someone can help another horse person out with a good piece of advice that's great!! You rock girl!

Ranchette, I usually scrub them with bleach too and rinse well.
