I Think They Were Pissed

Where as the dogs were gleeful and happy we were home after being gone for only 56 hours, my girls were holding a grudge and were pissed at me yesterday. Notice the tight lips and Misty's ears back. It cracks me up! They were pissed at me for leaving them for Jeremiah to feed, the dude that trims their feet. I can only imagine what they are thinking, especially Misty. OMG! Has anyone ever noticed their horse's attitude if you've ever been gone for awhile? This to me was so obvious.

I think maybe they are expressing their opinion. Aren't horses something. Our lives revolve around them ... right?!

Ranchette, It was hilarious, And that was after they had their dinner.

Marvel, They certainly expressed their opinion and I won't repeat it.....LOL

Jen, You back around? I'll have to go check it out. Yeah, I thought they were over the heat cycle, but I'm thinking maybe not.

Andrea, My cats were in better moods....hehehe

ROTFL at her face! She is defintely not happy with you! I know if I am late about going to feed or miss a morning or evening feeding. I get all kinds of looks, neighs, anything to try and get my attention. Like I forget they were there! LOL! They defintely have personalities, anyone who says owning a horse is boring, non rewarding, has never owned one!
BTW-congrats on the award! You deserve it! I need to get mine posted on my blog!

Horse Neglect!!!:-) Apparently you didn't ask their permission for leaving the farm. Time for a carrot or apple to make amends.

I laughed when I looked at the horses and read your post. Very nice. I have also seen people do these same things.

Our horse Kelzon would verbally tell us how upset he was with us. Goof balls!

Thanks, KDW, It totally cracked me up too, talk about a dirty look!

Photochic, LOL, horse neglet, LOL, I think you're right, I'd better get out there with a treat!

Abe, glad we entertained you and thanks for stoppin' by to comment! They can be very much like people or at mine think they are.

Kathy C., They are total goofballs. They do such silly things sometimes!

My horses have been known to hold a grudge and Dusty the mare has been known to be highly insulted for days. Where she won't even look at me and turns her head away. What a brat. The boys get over it much quicker, as long as there are carrots or treats to be had. They are easily bought, not the mare so much though, she's a tougher sell.

Arlene, yeah, I don't remember any of my boys holding grudges like these girls do. hehehe
