Scenes From Today

Whimsical birdhouses that Steve, Zoe and I painted. Guess which one is mine.
Stephen and I cleared part of the fence line. See that beyond it? We have to clear that tomorrow.
Steve used the DR power grader and made our driveway really pretty.
Kola's silly face. Both girls are in much better moods.
Don't we get anymore food?

Great pics! Woo Hoo on cleaning up, it so nice when you get things done! I was looking at our fences tonight thinking we really need to clean them up!
Love the nostril shot! I have one that is always looking for more food too! LOL!

I'll bet your birdhouse is the one that looks like a barn. They are really cute.

Yep, The barn birdhouse is mine and Kola's face like that is how I can tell she is past her evil heat cycle, because she's back to being her goofy self!

Wow, you sure were busy, but it does feel good to get stuff done after the winter. Love the birdhouses, but yours is the best.

No-I never would have guessed the barn was yours-LOL.

There's always so much to do around our place too. Now with hubby with the bum knee our faithful yard man will have more to do. I love birdhouse too, I have quite a collection at the cottage. I've never made one myself though. Cute picture of Kola! I've got to go give Buddy a butt wash, the new green grass is causing some issues..........yuck!

So glad that Kola is feeling better. I appreciate how hard you and Steve have been working. We're clearing our fence line too - before the insane bramble and weed overgrowth of summer. Do you have poison ivy? Every year, I rip it out and somehow, it comes back again.

Sorry gals, Late again to publishing comments. Just so busy around here, but now muscles are so bound up and sore, I shall have a day of laziness tomorrow and sit at the computer.

We have been busy and we're too old for this. Really need to hire someone, birdhouses were already built, we just painted them and then I covered them with polyurethane. Even after today, still have a third of the fence line to do. The last bit is the toughest. Luckily we do not have poison ivy, just prickly plum thorn bushes! Some of it we had to use the chain saw. Lots of dead wood with pricklies!

LOVE the barn bird house. Too cute. Hey- you guys have an awesome driveway there.... when I looked at the pic, all I could think was how good it looked to help condition hooves and horses..LOL....

Take care of yourself there, and dont work out mad scientist Steve-O too hard! ;)

Rubs and kisses to the girls from us!
