Could Ya Move A Little Faster...............

There, Mom........It's cold and we are hungry starving horses or can't you see that?

Liliput has to have her morning treat. Then the dogs get their morning vitamins and glucosamine followed by a milk bone.
The usual morning routine, feed the horses (Monday is Metamucil day), feed the goats, Lili's treats, dogs vitamins and bones, feed fish and maybe then I'll get my bath, of course now I'm typing and suffering through dog farts as Spot has placed himself under my feet. Stephen is in his office working and after my bath, I shall hit the mall for a little Christmas shopping. Each year it is harder to know what to get them all. It's easy when they're little, It's when they are young adults that makes it difficult. Oh how I long for the days of everything Barbie!

I hear you. It doesn't help when you ask people what they want for Christmas and they say, "Nothing." I know I should have a better imagination and come up with something, but I'm so worried that what I choose to get will end up in the garage or up on a shelf in the closet or regifted. We could use the money for other things if the gifts we choose won't be used or appreciated, so I want to make sure that they are the right choice.

As generally people have many or too many objects, may be you could offer tickets for the theater or for a festival... And you would enjoy the gift too.

Yes, it sure does get harder to shop when kids get older. I think all of my nieces and nephews are going to get gift cards this year and do their own shopping!

Happy anniversary to you two! Nice picture and nice gifts! My Hubby likes Warren Buffet too.

When they get older, sometimes gift cards are a good option. I'm at that point with my gift giving.

The problem is that a couple of these adult children live in the UK, so you can imagine cash wouldn't be worth much. At least our cash isn't going to go far. And the bratlings that are here have to have something to unwrap! :)

My kids cracked me up when I overheard them telling their grandparents just to give them 'cold hard cash' this year. My stepmom insists on giving them gift cards, but my boys don't always like shopping at Walmart for stuff. I don't much blame them either. lol!

You had me cracking up at the dog fart comment, though. Why must they always do that when they are right next to you (or below you) anyway? gah!

What is the metamucil for in your horses?

Lisa, the dog farts are always extra special after they've been dining at the horse apple buffet!
