I Have Been Interviewed.........By Mikey

I volunteered to be interviewed by Mikey from the The Horseshoeing Housewife at my own risk! So here it goes:

1) Describe yourself using only three words.
I know my husband would use the words "Pain In Ass", and I would have to agree with that, but I'll come up with the best that I can as describing myself : Humorous, Regimented(OCD), Caring.

2) Tell us about your oldest friend that you still keep in touch with.
Well, That would be Jess, one of the co-authors of this blog. We've known each other now since we were 11yrs old. I far as I can see, we are completely the opposite in most aspects except for maybe our love for horses, but have remained friends for all of these years.

3) What is the worst thing you did in highschool?
Besides skipping class for day parties every now and then and hitchhiking to school from the party the night before and getting a ride from the truancy officer? Hhmmm, let's see. I was served a subpoena to court once. Good grief! There's so much, I don't really know where to begin. Let me just say I have one incredible Guardian Angel that is with me still!

4) What's the funniest thing you've ever seen?
OMG! There are so many hilarious things that I've witnessed in my life. Many, very many, but it doesn't take much to crack me up. Many have made me nearly pee my pants. Kids and husbands are great source of entertainment, however , one of the funniest things that I have ever seen to this day is Great Britain's "Elderly People Crossing" signs. I'll add a picture as soon as I get home from work.

5) If you had to choose between being deaf or blind which would you rather be?
Although, I love my music, and singing and such, I'm afraid I would rather be deaf than blind. I love photography. And can I add that is a horrible question! LOL

All very interesting facts. You sound like you were a hoot in high school and I love the elderly crossing sign.

Great interview! Loved it! See it wasn't that bad! Glad you did it!
The elderly people sign is hysterical!

Great interview, Callie. lol!
That sign is hilarious. Doesn't it ever offend the eldery?
I think that sign would be politically incorrect here in the US. Our 'elderly' pride themselves on living longer, while being active healthy and getting face lifts. lol!

I loved your interview answers!
The Sign that got me was "Do not allow your dog to Foul this area".
in England.

I gather that some of the elderly are demanding that the signs be taken down. (Whilst expecting everyone else to work their asses off to pay their pensions. Probably to 70 or 75 by the time I get to retire.)

I have seen a railway sign - a relic from the days of steam - stating that "Enginemen Must Control Blowing Off".

Julian, I have to say, if I had seen that sign, I probably would have laughed to death! That certainly takes the cake!

You've had a busy week being interviewed and now another refreshing award for you too! Stop by and pick it up if you feel like it. By the way I loved Julian's comment, that had me laughing about the steam.

hehe We need one of those Elderly Crossing signs for here... although I bet Mom and Pop would throw it at us! ;)

And Steve, No Fair calling Callie a PITA!! ;) I know for a fact that if (GOD FORBID) something should ever happen to my boys, I want someone looking after them as skilled and caring as you Callie.
