I Think I Need More Bluebirds!

Two fat girls after a day in the pasture, now they're sleepy. But Stephen and I were gone this afternoon to his Ortho because the lovely Jack pup, 35 pounds hit him at full speed last night in the back yard and where did Jack body slam Stephen? Yep, you guessed it full on, full speed into his broken ankle. This just set him back a couple of weeks, Good news is x-rays still look ok. Then on our way back home, two marvelous Jackasses , one in a huge SUV and one in a Pick-up decided to have a little road rage race behind me where the road goes from two lanes verging into one and ran me off the road! WTF? They both then turned and I went a little further and pulled over to call the cops, while I'm on the phone with the cops describing it all, here comes the Pick-up and pulls in behind me. I did not stick around as he got out of the truck and started walking towards me. Shit! Then the bastard followed me about 15 miles, all the time I'm on the phone with cops. He finally realized I was on the phone and smartened up and turned off. Did any of the police manage to show up? County, Town, Village? Nope! I'm scraping the shit out of my pants now. Think I'll start carrying a weapon. I had my poor cripple husband in the car and these idiots almost killed us! Has the world just gone mad????????

Here's the little culprit, cute as he is, but still not potty trained! I did manage to bury both kitties together this afternoon, finally. Just couldn't bring myself to do it before. There is a serious rift in the cosmos. Hope it goes away soon. My sanity cannot take much more.

Glad you and your husband are okay. Jackasses is a much milder word than I would have used. These guys nowadays are just crazy. Par for the course on the cops helping out.

Damn girl. Next time (cause it might happen again) get on the phone with 911 and tell them "I'm armed and I'm gonna shoot this sumbitch right now. I'm afraid for my life. You best dispatch an ambulance cause this guy is gonna need it" then hang up.
Telling you, guns and gunfire gets a much quicker response. Or just arm yourself and do shoot em.
Hope this gets better for you, cause you are having a hard time right now!

Oh, no, no, no!!! That is one scary story. Could be the idiot driver was coming to see if you were OK, or it could be otherwise. I certainly wouldn't have wanted to stick around to find out.

Can't say our police would show up any sooner, but I'd hope so if they thought you were in danger. Last time someone had an accident here near my house--no one was hurt--it took at least a half hour for them to show up. I think things are better now, but I can never be sure.

I'd file a report regardless, if I were you. They need those kinds of things on record.

Apparently your bluebird was just on a short visit. I so wish I could do something to make you feel better.

Perhaps, as I mentioned before, even though it does not sound like something you should do so soon, if you go to the shelter or find a cat adoption place and adopt some new kitties as a gift of love to Zeke and Pyewackette it might help turn things around. Sometimes, when we are suffering, helping someone else can turn things around for us. It's not an easy thing to do, but it can help us heal our broken hearts.

Thank goodness Steve's ankle didn't suffer any worse damage! Being battered by a flying 35 pound pup is definitely not good. The positive side of that is that if the puppyslam didn't wreck it, that break must be healing well at this point. (Small silver lining in a cloud of gloom...)

Sending you a cyberhug. And pass one along to Steve as well.

Good Heavens!!! How much can happen in a short space of time?? You need a stress reliever....I hope things turn around for you soon. Crazy how it happens like that. Hopefully this means a lot of good things will happen in a row.

I must have pissed off the Gods somewhere along the line, LOL. And I haven't even told the half of it. I Must make ammends with Karma, but not sure what I did to begin with, Yikes! Need a Buddhist Monk, fast! LOL, need a prayer, cleansing spell, hell I'll take anything right now.

Mikey, you crack me up, come on up here and show 'em how it's done. I really think I will arm myself. Have to look into the law first though, my luck , lately I'd probably end up breaking it!

There are so many crazies out there. I wouldn't have stuck around either! Never know if they have a gun or what. Glad you guys are ok!
My other half and I are talking about getting our concealed weapon permits. Too many weirdos out there!
I hope things start to look up for you soon!

You're stronger than me if you haven't cracked yet. I'd be at my wits end having all that has happened to you happen to me, and I worry for you just reading about it. Something has to change. Try altering your energy and thinking. When bad things keep happening to me, I start doing good things for other people, and soon things turn around for me. Although, I know you do good things for others every day. It's almost like you're in a cosmic rut and you have to change something to break out of it. Ha ha -- I wrote this comment before reading your comment about karma. I see you are having similar thoughts.

Well that is nuts! Did you get a license plate number? I've had similar (not as bad) incidents and it always scares me. People are just freaky sometimes! I'm glad everything is okay with the hubbie's ankle, despite been body slammed by the pupster.
Hang in there and stay safe! ;)

Sorry that you lost another kitty. It was good to bury them together. I had a guy come out of his car one time. I was at a stop sign. I tore off real fast. I'm going to start carrying my little skinning knife.

Yikes How horrible. It's safer to just stay home....until they show up trying to rob and rape. Sheesh! What's the world coming, too?

I'm glad his ankle survived the slamming. I hope nothing major turns out to be wrong with it.

Last night I was feeding the woolies, and as I was dumping the hay into the crib, the angora goat head butted the churro and she backed up...right into my knee. The one that is still healing from knee reconstruction surgery!
I screamed out and felt my knee pop. I thought for sure I had ripped the screws out...but besides some really awful soreness, I was alright.
Darn critters....not watching where they're going! :P
