Rain, Rain, Go Away!

\
It has been raining and storming all day and into the next couple of days as well!

Wet, smelly dogs!

My training pen drainage system! It came pouring out!

At least they're smart enough to stand in the shelter. Well, being enticed with hay doesn't hurt either!

LOL Callie, I love "The Wet Look" there ya got goin' on! Reminds me of the 80's... lol... Oh--- wait-- that was the WET look-- NOT the "Drowned Critter" look!

Had to water my garden overnight, and the fan is on the horses now.... Rain here would be NICE!

Another hot day here tomorrow and then...maybe your wet weather will arrive and cool things off.

Glad to see your horses enticed inside. Mine tend to stand outside, dripping, looking miserable when they have at least three shelters available! Silly critters. *sigh*

In your last post, you tried the grazing muzzle. I think that your instinct to take it off your pony, vowing to cut back on grain, is the right move. Our ponies are grazing animals and it seems like grazing would be better for them than the grain, as long as their nutrition stays good. And you have to admit, your ponies are slick and shiny - they just look really good.
