Padro
I wanted to post a little update on my deaf dog. He is the one with the tail. The owner of the Stud dog came and picked him up Friday and took him to a rehabilitation rescue. He knew some people that could work with him and place him. He really is worth saving, I just did not have the time or experience to take care of him. I was working with him when I was home and he was catching on to hand signals and facial expressions. He should do well with an experienced trainer, which I'm not even close to. Jake picked him up while I was at work. I'm glad, I hate to cry in front of people. In that little time he was here I was pretty attached.

I'm glad Padro went someplace where he can be trained and placed in the right home. I hear you on the becoming attached thing. I would have been worried about crying too.
That sounds like exactly the right thing to do, special training with people who sound clearly experienced in these matters. Great resource to have, I'm glad too. :)
How wonderful for Padro. Sounds like the perfect solution. As hard as it was for you, you did the best for him. He is a handsome fellow.
This is exactly why I could never work at the shelter that I helped get funding for.
I'd take them all home.
