A Wonderful 7* F Today ............ Brrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is frigid cold today. I'm looking so forward to warmer spring air. Stephen is currently working on a crock pot beef stew. I'm also looking forward to that.........Just got that started. Yum!
Misty is doing well, I will call Jeremiah today and schedule a hoof trim for next week. I will once again put the girls on the Elkhorn Vet Clinic Equine Wellness Program. That is $295 per horse and includes the gamut of spring and autumn shots, coggins, a wellness health exam and a teeth float including sedation. I will still have to pay the near $50 for a farm call, but the program worked so well for us last year, that I just cannot pass this up. Does anyone else out there have a Vet that offers such a program? I think we're lucky in that way because we are so connected to UW Madison, which has one of the biggest Vet Schools out there.

The wellness program sounds like a good deal. I don't think anyone offers that here for the horses, anyhow.

As for the cold, I am shivering just thinking about it. I know the temps are supposed to drop here, but hopefully not that much. I'm not sure I could stand it at this point.

I wish I could find something like that wellness program here. It sounds cost effective!

Like the new look -- fuschia, is it? There is no wellness program like that around here (Northwest Indiana) -- at least none I have heard of. Sounds like the way to go, though....more economical than doing it a la carte.

Wow, don't I wish we had a program like that here. That would be so nice!
Are you guys getting hit just now by that winter storm that passed us? Brrrrr...
