I decided to sit out in the pasture with the girls for awhile this afternoon and this is the reaction I received. She's looking at me like I'm nuts. They both circled me for a bit and then poked at my toes. Then they got bored and went off to eat, but I thought this look on Kola's face was priceless.

I like to sit with Miss in the pasture too, but she doesn't get it either. There's something about watching them in their natural state when nothing is being asked of them that is really wonderful.
Thanks Donna, It is peaceful and mind calming. Something about trusting them not to trample me and they'll just eat around me once they've decided that I'm planted there and not asking anything of them but to share their company.
Hello its wonderful just being around them, we clear the fields each day of the droppings, they follow you & your begin to be part of the herd not the human who wants me to work. I have my best ideas when i'm around them, no phones, PC's just the sound of them munching on the grass...
If you click on my blogs you will see Mr & Mrs James, i've taken a picture of them both & their horse.
Plus please look at our Yard blog..
Thanks, Wayne for the comment. I'll have a look-see. :)
