What About.........

Wouldn't this have made for a great reality television show? Why don't they do that? Steve thought about this yesterday on our way home. People are always watching Survivor and Big Brother. Why not follow the participants of a Mustang Challenge from the time they pick up the horse to the auction? And put it on Network TV. I bet there would be millions of viewers. And a portion of the proceeds made from advertisers on prime time go towards the Mustang Heritage Foundation! I thought about that. Don't you think that's a good idea? It would bring into light a lot of the unknown and educate the masses.

I've still been too busy to switch from cable to Direct TV so I can get all those horse shows. At this point I'd be happy to get any horse show on cable, but would be particularly ecstatic about a long running reality show following the players in the Mustang Challenge. I'm glad they at least took the time to keep us posted through blogs.

NuzMuz, I would love to tune into something like that!

Mustang Challenge as Reality TV would be spectacular.

Why don't you find a way to get your idea to a network on cable or the animal channel or something. I wouldn't have the first clue how to do this of course. I think it is a terrific idea and it would be educational and fun and the proceeds could go to the mustang organization. This is just Callie.

I think that would be cool, I'd watch.
I've entered my BIL in the Extreme Mustang Makeover, we are waiting to hear...
if he makes it I will most certainly be blogging it. Start to finish.
I can't wait to see how this one turns out. I SO wish I could do this, but it would require getting my hands on a really tall round pen... hmmm

I'd rather watch that any day!!! I'm not sure the major networks would go for it, but that RDF channel might, or something like CMT (Country Music Television) they've had reality shows on before.
I just got addicted to Jessie and Remington's story, I'm dying to know how the rest of the weekend goes. So cool you got to meet her, Callie!!

GHM, Thanks, I did do a little ear buzz, but not sure if it's the right direction.

Mikey, cool I'll look forward to reading.

Pony girl, I'd like to see it on network, so it would be more widely available

I must admit I was a wee bit disappointed in the RFD version last year as it aired so much later than the event. I can't even get my stupid local paper out to do an article =( But yes, it'd be cool if someone out there would put this on tv. There are thousands of horse folks who'd tune in.

RFD drives me nuts sometimes. I never know when anything will be on.

I think it would be a great idea. With all of the commercials on that have horses in them, someone has done their marketing research and knows that there's a huge market in people interested in horses. Someone out there in management should see the potential.

Good post on the bras! My old girls could sure use some help so guess I'll have to check it out! lol!

I've tagged you for a meme. If you don't like doing them just disregard! :o)

Ranchette, It would be finally a reality program to sit down and watch.

Mikael, You're right, there is a huge market out there, I'm sure.

Midlife Mom, Thanks, but I've done a few in the past. Not sure if I can drudge up much more dirt on myself. LOL,will have to think about it.
