Our little Jynxy did pass away this weekend. Steve and I buried her in the back garden last night. She was 17 or 18 years old and lived a good life. Jynx had some very strange habits, though. She used to thrive on biting our toes.....hard! Can't say that I'll miss that. She was purring until the very end. That tells me she was ready to go and satisfied with her life. Jynx was my only full bred kitty, a Maine Coon, and a rescue from the shelter. And in spite of her bad habits, including missing the litter pan and crapping on the wall, she was a loyal kitty and a character. One of Zoe's favorites. Jynx will be missed.

Oh I am so sorry you guys.... But you know she had a fantastic life!!!
Awww, hugs for you. Jynx was a beauty and very lucky kitty... lol about her biting your toes though.
Thanks Mrs Mom, She was spoiled, how we manage to spoil them all is beyond me, but we do, LOL.
Denise, Thanks, she would chomp our toes! LOL, like they were sausages!
((HUGS)) Sorry to hear of your loss of "Jynx." She was just beautiful! Don't they all have weird or strange habits. What a long life she had!
Thanks, KDW, She did live pretty long for a kitty. Especially one that chomped toes. HEHEH
Sorry to hear about Jynx. It sounds like she lived a long happy life with you guys. And as for spoiling, is there any other way?
YOu're right Ranchette, there is no other way! LOL
That is so sad, I am so sorry for your loss. It's good to know that she was rescued and had a wonderful life. She does sound like a charater! Little Toe Biter!!
I'm so sorry to hear about Jynx. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved animal friend.
Last year was rough for us,we lost both of our Border Collies, 13 and 12 and my daughters 30 year old gelding she had had since he was 6.
I know they will all be waiting at the rainbow bridge for us.
**hugs** sorry for the loss of your beautiful kitty.
Thanks All, for the kind thoughts. I think this year is going to be a rough one.
Sorry Callie, Jynx had a very good life. If there was such thing as reincarnation, I would come back as one of your dogs. Too many cats to have to compete with. You may spoil them a little, they are the happiest pets I know. Maybe with the exception of my mom's pugs. Now you have room to save another one.
So sorry to hear about you losing your sweet Jynx. I dont think that you should refer to your angels as spoiled, though. They are just "accustomed to a certain lifestyle."
So sorry to hear about Jynx. How very good that you were able to be there at the end.
I'm a few days behind on my reading. Please accept my sympathies.
