Spring Is Drawing Closer..................

I picked up this little handy poster at the forum the other night. I would have scanned it, but it was too big. Awesome though, Equine Emergency Chart, now hanging on my fridge.

They had a little pasture time time this afternoon and I snuck them in without the extra grain and they were pissed. Kola's hoof crack care went real well. I was able to really clear out the mud and crap with the hose set to jet and she did real well with it. And I got the antibiotic cream really stuffed in there. I was pleased.

Misty pissed at me for being locked out of the pasture.

They're plotting revenge on me I'm sure.

A little, I mean little video of them going wild. I must have accidentally shut it off, but it 's fun anyhow.

Aw, phooey, I would have liked to see the rest of that, "I am bolting off acting like a wild stallion" routine.

I am sure they will figure out a way to get back at you for closing them in. Or else they will plot to work on your sympathy with those cute, sad horse faces full of teary eyes longing.

It is Spring, whether our weather has figured that out or not!

I know, I thought I was taping it all, they went nuts!

Donna, The equinox may have come and passed, but it's threatening to snow this weekend! Ugh! Still winter!

Like the poster it's a handy thing to have around. It's too bad about the video, I'm sure they were crazy. You can tell it really is spring by the mud on all of our horses. Glad to hear her crack is getting better.

That video looks like what my girls have been doing too. It always makes me cross all my fingers and toes that neither horse gets hurt, but I love to watch them run and play like wild things.

The poster sounds great. I need something like that. They are predicting snow for us this weekend...is it EVER going to end??

Nice video. She seems very interested in seeing you.
Here we have taken my neigbour's pony for he eats the grass, but he prefers eating the wild leeks. I love the leeks with eggs too.
I think we'll take the leeks before he comes back.

I always enjoy the pics of Kola and Misty. The video was cute, would like to see more. They get really frisky in the springtime don't they? That vet lecture you went to sounds really good. We so rarely have anything like that hear, the closet is about an hour and a half away and we don't get there very often. :o(

Wow, you have done a lot of work, with all that cleaning and stuff. The ponies sure look good. And, yes, they are planning a little surprise for you ... count on it.
