It's been raining again and the poor girls are in mud land. Of course they won't stand in the barn. What's worse, although today, it's in the forties and I have their blankets off, we're supposed to get high wind warnings tonight and the temperature is to drop about 20 degrees. I've decided to wait until this afternoon to put their blankets back on for the next two days. Let them dry off again a bit as it is not raining this morning. Also one of my wind break tarps as fallen victim to the weather elements and it's no longer doing the stellar job it had been, so I have to fork out some money for a canvas tarp and some clips and get another one up there. I can't wait for warmer weather, but I hate this transitional crap!
And on top of it all, I just woke up with an MS relapse.....the classic Lhermitts sign, it's when you flex your neck down and get an electric shock feeling down your arms. Yippee! I haven't had a relapse since I was diagnosed. It makes for a fun day of lifting and whatever chores I have to do! I'll just go numb during them. Now, I'll debate about going to my Neurologist, he'll just order another MRI and I'll light up like a Christmas tree and he'll want to give me steroids and I'll refuse, so what's the point? I'll give it a few days and see how I get on.
Steve will go to the Ortho tomorrow for another follow-up and X-ray and we'll see how's he's progressed or not. I'm thinking NOT, because he has been naughty in spite of me scolding him and has occasionally put weight on that damned leg!

I agree, this weather is still garbage. We're under mud too and raining again.
Please take care of yourself and only do what is absolutely necessary, nothing extra. Good luck at the ortho and rest as much as you can. Feel better.
Yep, your weather forecast sounds about like ours. Just when I thought it might be over....I even took Marco's (goat) coat off, hoping he no longer needed it. Guess I will have to get it back on him. I hope Steve is OK -- it is difficult to get men to comply with doctors orders. I think I told you that after John's collar bone break and surgery he didn't even need physical therapy because he had used his arm so much during the healing process. Take care!! Spring WILL arrive!!!
HOpe your weather is almost over!
It is in the 80s today here, but rain and cold weather is on the way for the rest of the week! Pollen is EVERYWHERE!
We seem to have stabilized in the 40's but rain keeps showing up in the forecast, so the Boys are in waterproof sheets.
I do hope you are going to be OK. The MS sounds nasty when it acts up. Try to take it easy, but I'm sure that is not exactly a simple thing for you.
As for Steve, we can hope that whatever he did stimulated the blood flow to his injury and did inspire healing. How's that for a positive outlook??? *G*
Please take care of yourself Callie! I know that is easier said then done but sometimes you've just got to let some things slide and take it easier. Listen to Dr. Midlife Mom! Seriously though, I hope this relapse doesn't last long and that you're back on track soon. You've had so much with the hubby out of commision and all. I hope he gets a good report at the dr. but I know how men are when they are sick, they just don't always behave! :o)
Again thanks for your help! It's still working and hasn't gone off into cyberspace!
Thanks, All, for the concern. I'm sorry I was belly aching! LOL I actually managed a lot today. After I struggled in the mud with the girls' blankets, the temp shot up to 60, but it's due to drop down into the 20's tonight with the high winds. They actually preferred their dinner in the barn tonight. Got all the water topped off and cleane the kitchen. made a decent dinner for a change and cleaned the extension, Jack's crap hole. Now I'm putting my feet up for an hour or so!
Take care of yourself. Sounds so painful.
