Of course, this morning, Miss Kola seems to be back to normal. I spoke to Vet on phone and who knows , could be a number of things. So I've made an appointment for Wednesday for lameness exam. They'll bring the X-Ray machine as well. Want to get her trimmed before then and hoping Jeremiah can fit me in. She just sprinted out to the pasture without any problems, high steppin' as normal. WTH? New name for Miss Kola will be Miss Pansy Priss!

Miss Pansy Priss has been talking with Sonny Bunz, AKA: "The Delicate Horse" lately.
Looking forward to hearing the vet's thoughts on this too. Give silly girl a rub from me please!
That is a scary looking storm. Don't know if ours look like that because they come in from the west and I have too many trees in that direction to get a panoramic view. Yours is a big one, for sure.
Glad the vet is coming, even if Kola looks sound. Off and on lamenesses are really tricky.
Horses are such funny creatures! My friends German Warmblood will all of a sudden in the middle of a training session "go lame" on the front (either side doesn't matter). She'll immediately stop, walk, cold hose, and as soon as the tack comes off he's PERFECT!!! I swear it!
I'm glad your Kola is on the mend and hopefully the vet won't find anything.
Well, think it's down to a butt muscle, Vet out tomorrow, after her trim lunged a bit and then she went off and that buttock bulged and got hard. Jeremiah, checked her spine, legs, nine yards and doesn't think it's a stifle, but a muscle injury? We'll see tomorrow. Maybe accupuncture, rest and linament. Cold hose makes it spasm worse.
Glad to hear she is doing better. Most likely nothing serious (??). A muscle thing could come and go like that....
We missed the storms here in Northwest Indiana -- I think they stayed mostly to the north of us. But it was hot, hot, hot!!!
I am happy to hear Ms. Pansy Priss is doing better. I love face in that photo...so put upon!
