Ever notice when your horse gets ill, its always on a Sunday

It never fails. When I need an emergency vet visit, it's always on a Sunday. Or a Holiday! When the costs are doubled and the vet's crabby because he or she had just settled in, relaxed, and said their prayer to the "no beeper, please" gods. And never anything I can handle on my own and nurse myself until Monday.
