Farm & Fleet

This is a little post about one of my favorite stores. We have them in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. I don't know what farm type stores y'all have everywhere else in the world. We also have Tractor Supply Company, but Farm & Fleet is one of the greatest. I've decided that Stephen and I can no longer visit this store without walkie talkies or both with our cell phones on. This store is very large. There is clothing, boots, shoes, farm equipment, agriculture, gardening, car and truck, horse stuff of course, fishing, candy, toys, and many other fun things. Tonight, Steve and I thought we'd stop in for a bit and check out the merchandise. You mustn't ever separate as we spent nearly an hour looking for each other. Back and forth, up and down aisles, just missing each other and there were hardly any people in there tonight, until finally I heard my name paged to the customer service desk. I thought "Thank Christ!" I was beginning to give up. And it was about the time I was considering using the restroom, which would have been quite awkward as this is also the store in which I always must use the restroom, usually for more than just number one, I am embarrassed to admit. I don't know why but for some reason it's at this store. They do have quite nice restrooms. Stephen had already visited the restroom as soon as we had arrived, probably the same reason I needed to. By the time, I had arrived to the desk and we had checked out I was so grateful to get the hell out of there as an hour of walking back and forth, my back now ached as the weight of my breasts (not braggin' here or anything) were killing me. Steve doesn't have that problem, thankfully!

We don't have farm and fleet here. And I don't know that we even have anything comparable.

Hey, I used to work at the Janesville Farm and Fleet, in the Ag department! Just for one summer, 2 years ago. But let me tell you, you should feel no shame in using their "facilities" for your duties, every day after my lunch break, I did the same thing! Haha oh my... I can't believe I am writing this...

hahaha that sounds like something i would say in regards to the bathroom lol. How do y'all not go broke in there?? I know when hubs & I go to Sergeants back home in Texas it's bad news for our bank account!!

Mikael, It's amazing........

Jessie, It was the Janesville one, LOL, too funny.

Jen, I was once offered a credit card for that store, thankfully I was smart and declined the offer. It can be very dangerous to a bank account.

We just have little feed stores here and there along the Nevada Sierra. They are way over-priced, so I try to find a balance between giving them my business so that they will stay in business and ordering over the Internet. No bathrooms in either place for me, but that's okay because I'm afraid of public restrooms. I think Borders Bookstore has the only public restroom I will take a chance on.

we have AtWoods, it the same as Farm And Fleet. I also can spend oodles of time inside. They do not carry Purina's Equine Senior. Ive tried their brand of Senior feed, Scooter doesnt like it!

LMAO, my husband likes the ATWoods bathrooms too, he says they are clean, big and roomy.

I hear ya bout the having a back ache. Im a 40DD and it isnt any fun carrying them around.

Wished you guys could share some if you wanted to lighten the load. I am a full fledged member of the IBTC. Just one cup size would be perfect.
We have Runnings around here, but it depends on the location on how good they are. Love them at Christmas time though-they carry the coolest farm toys.

I have to head for the facilities at Menards. I notice it most in cutting horses and have seen it in barrel horses, they have to raise their tails before they compete. Wether it is excitment or nerves, I'm not sure. Callie maybe you are excited to shop at F&F or maybe nervous that you will exceed your budget. Maybe both!

LOL, Jess, maybe at the prospects of spending on horsey bits.....But what excites you about Menards? LOL

We have Quality Supply out here. I love it. I spent several thousand mental dollars every time I go in.

I've always have been a hardware geek. I have this fantasy of a hot looking guy wearing nothing but a tool belt.
