Well, This Post...........
Started as one just for Arlene at Grey Horse Matters , who said she liked the Draft horses I put up on the previous post about the Walworth County Fair, but as it goes, Lethal Smudge, decided to bring one of these little critters in the house. However, she got bored with the large Chipmunk and released it in the house. It was far too fast for me to get an actual picture of the one in here much less catch it. And it managed to escape into the wall at our stairs. Nice! I hope the damned thing isn't pregnant!
So past the Chipmunk incident, these pics are for Arlene. I think she needed an elevator to get up on this ginormous Draft!

Oh no not chipmunks in the wall. We once had the kid's hamster go down through a hole in the wall,he managed to go all the way to the basement and then up again, we found him under the kitchen cabinet eating the dog wormer or something.Uh, he didn't make it.
Thanks for those pictures, I love big draft horses and if they are grey all the better. My guy was 17.2 hands and since I'm only 5'5" I did need a huge mounting block to get on him. (By the way when I got him as a 3 yr. old I had no idea he would get that huge). Thanks again for the pictures, I would love to take them home with me.
Holy Schnikies, that is a huge horse! She looks like a bug up there.
p.s. I just remembered I once had a chipmunk in the house too. Imagine my surprise as I rounded the corner in the kitchen one morning to see it eating the dogs food. Well I don't know where he came from but I knew he wasn't staying. We go a have a heart trap and baited it with peanut butter and he was caught and redeposited outside. Hope that helps a little for a solution.
Hi Callie,
Thanks for your comment!
Funny, we live a town away from eachother and met though someone 1000's of miles away. It really is a small world!
Our daughter's full name is Calliya, but we've only called her Callie, it IS a great name!
Arlene, This is simply typical of this household! If it's not a bat, it another wild creature. I haven't heard it scratching around, yet! Thought you'd like this. Steve and I were gobsmacked!
SMR, She does look like a little bug up there!
Arlene, Thanks for the solution, but I can see us trapping a darned cat! LOL, Probably the one responsible for the wee beastie.
Jenny, It is a small world! Welcome, hope to see you back here again.
Man that horse is GORGEOUS! I'd give just about anything for that type of horse, but I could do without shoeing him. Thanks for the pics, I blew them up so I could see how he was shod, lol.
LOL, Mikey, Did you see those feet! Yikes! I'd hate to get walloped with those!
What a splendid horse. Hope he doesn't roll in the mud before grooming time.
I don't think he would have had a chance. Their all stalled at the fair.
Holy Draft Beer Batman! THat is a big horse!!
