Summer Has Packed It's Bags & Left The Building

Yesterday was 98* and oppressively hot! Today, A high of 68* and packed full of clouds. It really feels like autumn today!

Our Poor little Miata! Ya think she might need a bath? She needs a little work, so she stays in the garage until Steve and I can get it together enough to get her repaired properly! We did get her started and back into the garage. I love her winkie blinkie eyes!

Our garbage men will hate us. This is all from yesterday's clean out of the garage! Garbage day is Friday! I think they'll be pissed at us for sure!

Some of the garage crap that needed cleaning! We found the rogue cat from last year under the Miata, which is where I expected to find him, well, his bones, anyway! Yikes!

Breakfast this morning! Mina decided to join in!

I managed to squeeze in three cars, lawnmower, big quad, and various equipment!

Finally a little curb side appeal, except for the all the dead grass because until today, we haven't had any rain since June!

Talkin' about trash... we have had a broken swivel recliner sitting in front of our garage for about a year now. My husband keeps saying he'll take it to the dump, but now it is just at the point where we don't see it anymore. Our neighbor's probably hate us, but I think the park-like setting might make up for it.

Did you happen to find my tennis rackets in the back of the Miata at all?

NuzMuz, Yeah I think they'd be pissed at the amount we're settin' out there. Oh yikes on the chair, I'd probably haul it there myself after a year. LOL

CDN, Yeah it was rough in 98* weather on top of it!

Yes My Darling Daughter, I believe they were in there! I'll check again to make sure!

Limo loves to eat up after the horses, she stands right under then like Mina!
My car had a bath last year about this time, when my friend got me a car wash inside/out for my b-day:-)

Denise, I've given the other cars baths pretty regularly, but this poor little sports car, sit under a tarp. :(

Wow, what a great clean-up,the garbage men will probably not be happy to see all that trash! Great pictures again. What lit the fire under you, you've been so busy lately. I need some of your energy, pass it along.

LOL, Arlene, The energy comes and goes in spurts, but once the snow starts flying, there's no chance of achieving anything outside cuz we get buried, so it was now or never.I always feel good knowing that everything has been sorted and I can get my Jag into the garage! LOL

I'm kinda sad that fall is coming. Here in Maine we havn't had much of a summer. We have had a ton of rain and just recently things have dried up some. I love the fall time, althouth it means winter is right on it's heels and after the winter we had last year I'm all set with snow for a while.

Many years ago I spent a few months each year October / November in Boston and one of the joys while working there was driving through Maine and Vermont in the Autumn , a great experience and one of the best places in the world to see fall
