Not So Wordless Wednesday........

The breakfast dance!

These are Great Blue Herons! Rare! We always see Sand Cranes (red caps) , but these birds are rare to see indeed and much bigger than a Sand Crane.

Hand safety!

This is precisely why we just bought some serious long chew pigs ears! We take these two out every two hours. With tennis balls, basket balls, Stephen even gets on the quad and they chase him through the field. I'll try and video of that tomorrow. Where does this energy come from?

WTH? I do not see any hay in there.

The dinner bell dance!

Not fast enough, lady! These girls do not lack for anything, but you can tell by the way they act at feeding time, they're feelin' the chill. They even get lunch! And neither of them are skinny. It's just that time of year.

Hah, I know what you mean about the dogs! We are having to constantly ref' Limo and Peanut at home.
We have some type of heron that lives at the farm that the girls (Nut and Lim) love to chase... it cracks me up when those huge birds sit on a rail or fence they just doon't look right. LOL

LOL, Gals, Don't ya just love the look on their faces? They're pissed about the pasture closing! I think it's hilarious! They step out of the way when I go in and wait or they won't get fed right then, I just torture them with the camera for a few minutes before I feed. LOL
I'll get the vid of pups and Steve. It's hilarious!

Your horses remind me of myself as the temps drop lower. I want to eat all the time and drink warm drinks all day long.
Guess were all fattening ourselves up for the cold winter. gah!

Funny, Lisa, That's usually how I am, but recently have lost a bit of my appetite. Good! for me, I need to lose!

That's a good idea to take the dogs outside and actively play with them every couple of hours. It helps keep them less obnoxious when they can expend all that energy. I haven't been faithful in taking my dogs for walks, because they have such a huge yard to run in. Unforunately, they only exercise themselves when a delivery truck races past. Otherwise, they just hang out and snack on disgusting unmentionables.

At the club all the horses get nervous when it's time to lunch and when the food arrives. They hurt their door, they shout, turn round in their box...

Hey--I don't think those are Blue Herons. We have blue herons here and they have a big dark blue swath over the top of their head and they're not much bigger than 4' tall. You might have something even more amazing...
