A Difference A Day Makes...............

Relatively clean horses.........................

And now dirty horses..........................

Jackson going mad trying to break out of his 40X20 play and poo room as we ate dinner.........
I'm really not cruel, he is given time to roam the house, of course I'm following him around with paper towels and a baggy!

Yes, it looks like we might be past this loooong winter!! I think our girls are finally starting to shed, too. So with spring comes the mud, right??? Oh well, I just enjoy this time before the blasted bugs set in!! We were hoping to ride this weekend, but they are predicting rain. If they are wrong, I would love to hit the trails! It is supposed to be 50+ degrees!!!

I know how you feel about the mud on the girls, we've got 5 of them that look like that. It seems my two girls haven't rolled in the mud yet, just the boys.
Your pup is just a little crazy I think. Wish I had half of that energy. Hope he calms down soon and decides it's fun to potty outside.

Horses do not understand the concept of...clean or dogs. They seem to think it is permission to get dirty agian and roll in whatever the moment they are clean.

Well always busy with animals.
Your movie reminds me when I was a little girl, may grand mother had taken a puppy and put a gate in the kitchen to prevent her from going to dangerous places. As we did not look at her, the puppy jumped. I laughed much but my grand mother did not at all.

Jack is too funny. Mine just sits at my feet and waits for my guard to slip so he can get at my food.

He's too smart by half, LOL.........And already spoiled to the hilt!

Uh huh, tomorrow is mud day for my Boys. I can't wait. Horse hair in my teeth and mud everywhere.

Did you ever notice how all the women who ride horses in the TV commercials are alway galloping along the surf in pure white dresses? Realistic vision of horse handling....not.

LOL, Jean, That is funny!

Don't you love it when you spend time to make your ponies all clean and then they just go and get all dirty!! LOL!! It's a wonderful life, owning horses!!

And your dog, girl, that is hilarious, when he puts his two paws up and is shaking the gate!! LOL!!

Great videos Callie! If you have a few spare minutes (yeah, right) could you e-mail me and tell me how you put them on there. I have one heck of a time for some reason and would love to be able to put more on. thediz@roadrunner.com

Thanks!

I am so lucky my Miss is quite the princess, she doesn't like to get dirty! The worst she does is roll in her shavings, which is very easy to groom off of her.

Maybe we should have a contest to see who has the muddiest horse? My girls are wild with excitement about this weather. Time to plant some pasture grass and shop for a grazing muzzle. I never thought this day would finally come! How is Steve doing?

It's impossible to keep 'em clean when the ground is muddy. Your girls still look beautiful, just the same, though :)

You are much nicer than me with Jackson. Unless we are right there supervising, I keep Zuni, our GSD in her large kennel in the house. She's a year old now, but sometimes still has accidents and eats things she's not supposed to. I figure she has all day long outside to run and play and get into stuff....when she's in the house, she can lay down and behave. lol!

See who's the mean one now?
