Another Hot Day

It's going to be a scorcher today, up into the 90's and very humid. I really don't like it this hot! Zoe and I are going to look at puppies today. We've decided to add a new family member. The humane society this morning and an appointment this afternoon to look at some Lab/ Retriever Mix puppies. Sunday we will look at some Aussie shepherds. It's going to be hard as I easily fall in love with puppies and stray dogs. I'm going to try and hold out for an Aussie, but you never know. We won't purchase today, just look and plan to bring whoever home next week. Wish us luck!

I would go with the lab/ret. mix. A stray would be good if you can bring your dogs down to see if they are compatable. You have 2 dogs now that would love to chase horses but do not. You add an aussie (another herding dog)into the mix that may change. Max stays out of the pens for the most part. If Zena mis-behaves as usual, he follows. When I had 3 of them I was always yelling at them to leave the horses alone.

I have three Australian sheperds, they are very smart and lovable. I've also had labs and goldens which are also smart and lovable,it's going to be a hard choice. Good Luck!
